Women in Construction Week

DID YOU KNOW:
Women make up 9% of the U.S. construction industry and that number is growing!

DID YOU ALSO KNOW:
Union trades provide wage equity for female tradespeople and guarantee an equal playing field for recruitment, selection, employment, and training.

IUOE Local 139 would like to celebrate our female operators and encourage more women to join the construction trades, specifically as a heavy equipment operator for Local 139.
Women interested in a career as an Operating Engineer should check out these apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship opportunities asap.
The spring construction season is ramping up!

APPRENTICESHIP:
Attend our March 13th or 27th info session at our training center in Coloma, WI.
Learn more at: http://139training.org/apprenticeship/
