Crane Dedicated In Memory Of Brenda Glover

Crane enthusiast, operator and instructor, Brenda Glover, was remembered at a recent ceremony held at the Wisconsin Operating Engineers Training Center in Coloma. Glover, a proud member of Local 139 since 1993, lost her life to cancer in February.

During the ceremony, Terry McGowan, President/Business Manager of Local 139, dedicated our training center’s Terex-Peiner SK 315 tower crane in her memory. McGowan also presented a memorial plaque to husband and fellow 139 member, Craig Glover, at the Annual Picnic held on Saturday, July 21.

Glover is remembered for her passion for cranes, as well as her love story with Craig, which was featured in the Fall 2017 Wisconsin News issue. The two met in the field, bonded over their enthusiasm for the industry and were married November 3, 2017. The Terex-Peiner SK 315 will stand as a memorial to the dedication and contributions Glover made to the industry.
